What we service

Marine AC is a chain: raw water comes in through a seacock and strainer, a pump moves it, a compressor and coil do the cooling, and a blower pushes air through the ducting. When cabins go warm, the failure is usually somewhere in that chain — not in the unit itself.

Most owners call when something is already uncomfortable. These are the ones we see most often in South Florida.

• Cabin never quite gets cold
• Unit runs constantly but air is warm
• Airflow dropped off over a season
• Water in the bilge or under the unit
• Musty smell or damp interior surfaces
• System short-cycles or trips a breaker

Why preventive service pays for itself

Cooling problems rarely stay cooling problems in this climate. Weak airflow and hidden moisture can turn into mold, soft goods damage, and interior wear far faster than owners expect — and that repair bill is not an AC bill anymore. A clean strainer and a clear condensate drain cost almost nothing by comparison.

If your vessel is on a Maverick management plan, AC checks are part of the routine — inspected on schedule, reported with everything else, and handled before you notice a problem. If you are not on a plan, we service air conditioning as standalone work as well.
